The Weekly Challenge, 5th August – #Freewheeling5th August 2019
August 8th is Cycle to Work Day! It doesn’t matter if you haven’t cycled in years or have never cycled at all – Cycle to Work Day is just about giving it a go, and having some wheely good fun outside of your normal routine. To celebrate, Cycling Scotland challenge you to explore the feeling of life on two wheels. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a bike, this week’s challenge is all about getting creative and capturing the feeling of adventure…
Capture the ‘freewheeling – wind in your hair – stomach left at the top of the hill’ feeling of adventure. What does adventure feel like? What does it look like? What does it sound like? Get creative! You could capture the feeling in a drawing, painting, photograph, poem, piece of music…anything goes when adventure is involved. Over to you, Challengers.
If you have more time …
Using a map, close your eyes and point to a spot. Where does your finger land? Where does your mind let you wander? Plot your perfect adventure…
What does adventure mean to you? Do you seek adventure? If you could explore anywhere and everywhere – where would you go first?
