The Weekly Challenge

The Weekly Challenge, 2nd November 2020 – Challenge Creator!

The January Challenge from 64 Million Artists is 31 days of creative challenges for each day of the month. In 2020, 30,000 people took part and over 98% said that it had a positive impact on their wellbeing. Remind yourself of all the colourful action here!

2021 is coming, and this year, we’ve enlisted the help of three inspiring creative people to help select from your creative ideas, one for every day of the month of January.

You can read all about our collaborators poet Lemn Sissay, journalist Yomi Adegoke and comedian Jess Thom (AKA The Touretteshero) here!

This week, we challenge you to use your ideas to help design a campaign to keep us connected, curious and creative in challenging times. Let’s inspire and be inspired!

From dancing to writing, building to exploring – a challenge should take you no longer than 5 or 10 minutes, and shouldn’t require any materials that you aren’t likely to have around you. What do you enjoy doing? What boosts your mood, relaxes you or inspires you? Have you seen, heard or read about something that you’d like to try? Send us your ideas (little ones, big ones – and all the ones in between!) – by Monday 9th November.

If you have more time …
Nominate somebody else to design and submit a challenge idea! You might nominate a friend, family member, colleague – or you might nominate an organisation you admire, or that is local to you! Give them all the information they need by sending them this link here.

The January Challenge is designed to boost wellbeing and inspire creativity. What helps you to feel connected, curious and creative? How have you used your creativity this year?
Submit your ideas via this form here. If you would rather email, call or Whatsapp us your ideas or videos, let us know on email at
