The Weekly Challenge, 24th February 2020 – #Goals
24th February 2020This week’s challenge is set by Michaela Tranfield, a third year English Literature student who believes goal setting is a great way to explore…
“I’ve thought of a way to make goal setting more creative, helping you to reflect on your present and future plans…”
Take a few moments to think about the week ahead, and see if you can come up with a simple goal for the week. It could be anything from finishing a piece of work, to spending time outdoors, to making a delicious new meal…
Create an image, or a form of word art, using the words that capture that goal. You might choose one word, a few different words or a phrase. You could work digitally, using pen and paper, or get crafty – it’s over to you! Use your image to inspire you this week.
Michaela has chosen the phrase “You got this” to capture her goal – to be determined. She’s used these words to create an exclamation mark image, to capture how she feels about her goal! What goal might you choose?
If you have more time …
You might like to repeat this exercise each day of the week, with different goals, words or images. Or, you could ask a friend or colleague to join in, and help each other achieve your #goals…
Think
How did doing this challenge impact your week? How did it feel to take the time to reflect on your goals – no matter how big or small they are?
