The Weekly Challenge, 15th July 2019 – Challenge 59

A famous fast-food restaurant once promised to serve its customers in 59 seconds. On average a 6-year old will now spend 6.5 hours a day on a screen. How do you spend your time? This week’s Challenge comes from Challenge 59, who co-create 59 second dance films with children and their teachers, exploring issues in their communities, empowering them to think, feel, relate to one another and find opportunities to be themselves. What could you do, or get done, in 59 seconds?

59 seconds to go! See what you can get done in 59 seconds – could you draw something around you? Write a speedy poem? Dance like no-ones watching? Conduct a 59 second interview with the person next to you? Get creative!
