The Weekly Challenge

The Weekly Challenge, 12th April 2021 – Sometimes Hope Looks Like…

This week’s challenge is from Angela in Peterborough!

My name is Angela Tee. I affectionately describe myself as a ‘NaN who CaN’. I live in Peterborough. I love to write: books, blogs, letters, long text messages (yes, I’m that person). Creative writing is my happy place and I am currently working on developing my writing skills.

Angela invites us to manifest hope this week…

“I think our stories and experiences have the power to help others and make a difference. I think now more than ever people need HOPE, SUPPORT and ENCOURAGEMENT. I want to encourage people to share their pictures and stories as part of a bigger project idea which I hope will have a ripple effect.”

Make something that symbolises HOPE. It could be a drawing, a collage, a photograph or even a story!

Hope can look like lots of different things to different people; for some it can be a current feeling or change being made, whilst for others it could be a future aspiration. What gives you hope? Or what are you feeling hopeful for?

Create something to celebrate that hope and inspire others!

If you have more time…

Create more than one symbol of hope! You could send your creation to a loved one, or leave it somewhere hidden for a passer by to discover!

What are your hopes for this Spring and beyond?

Share your work with friends and family or keep it for yourself!
