The January Challenge 2020, Day 9 – One Staple Collage9th January 2020
Today’s challenge is set by Caroline, 52, from Yorkshire.
This Thursday we are bringing things together! Experiment with different colours and textures to create a collage with just one fixing point.
Build a picture one layer at a time. This is a collage where all the elements are held together with just one staple (or one pin, one piece of thread, or hold it together with your fingers). You can use magazine pages, photographs, drawings, even leaflets, tickets, leaves or pieces of fabric.
Give it a go! What can you create in 10 minutes?
If you have more time …
Build your collage to create a scene of your choice – a walk on the beach, through a forest, a family tree!
Did you find the one staple method restrictive, or did it inspire your creativity?
