Day 20 – 1…2…3… Action! “Today’s challenge is really different. We want you to create an advert for something you’re really passionate about.” I’ve always been passionate about the NHS, it’s saved the lives of people around me and helped keep us all healthy. Visiting places like America I’m struck by how lucky we are, so I’m passionate about our personal responsibility to look after the NHS so it can continue to look after us. That responsibility includes not getting so drunk you injure yourself, trying to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle and accessing services at the appropriate time and place. Yesterday we ended up at a minor injuries unit, then being told to ring 111 and then travelling to a walk in centre because I’ve had acute neck spasms since Friday – I was trying to keep mobile and take pain killers, but when I burst into tears with pain Alan decided we should go to get me checked out. They think it’s only muscular and recommended some things to do and the poor doctor was losing her voice and looked like she could do with a day off. Look after our #NHS #64millionartists #thejanuarychallenge. Something #creative everyday
