Day 23: Blackout poetry
Never one to make things easy for myself, I decided that making something out of already good literature might be too easy. But a page on Foucault’s post-structuralist theory of power from a social theory text book? Now that’s a challenge. It was really hard but on the upside came out as nothing like I would have written normally:

In general terms power,
acquired or seized,
has threads everywhere.
Resistance, discipline, subjugation,
Relations, contacts,
never completely stable
as shifting alliances open up.
Appropriate for warfare, struggle and conflict.
People are simply conduits.
