Clinical research results reveal the positive effects of our online creativity projects on participants’ mental health and wellbeing!
Over the years, many of our community members have told us that taking part in our creative challenges has lifted their mood and improved their wellbeing. Lots of you have reported that being creative, trying something new, sharing work and connecting with others have given you a boost.
We wanted to know if our online creativity programmes really improve mental health and wellbeing, so we partnered with UCL Division of Psychology and Life Sciences to design Creativity in Mind: a research project with participants experiencing low mood and anxiety.
Today is #NationalStressAwarenessDay and we are so pleased to launch the numerical data that show a ‘clinically meaningful’ increase in participants’ wellbeing” as well as a decrease in symptoms of stress, depression and anxiety.
