The January Challenge 2020, Day 13 – To be continued…
Today’s challenge is set by ‘To be continued.’ To Be Continued is a new web series, based on the journals of a man called Dick Perceval, which were found 21 years ago in a pile of rubbish. Find more information on the project and the fascinating stories of Dick Perceval by clicking here: https://www.tobecontinued.online
This challenge is about putting pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) and giving yourself the time and permission to write freely…
Set a timer for anywhere up to 10 minutes. Start writing and just keep your pen moving on the page. Try not to think too much about what you’re writing – even if you’re writing ‘I don’t know what to write’, that is okay. Then, without reading them, destroy the words you’ve written. You could tear them up small, feed them into a shredder, or run the pages under the tap!
If you want to share your work, take a photo of your pile of shreds and describe how the experience was for you.
