It’s been an interesting time out there, hasn’t it? I find myself wondering about different people more and more, old friends, family, old students, etc. An indirect blessing of the amount of time we have right now. It’s been humbling to remember how many amazing humans I’ve had the privilege of knowing throughout my life, and how they’ve helped shape me into who I am. I’m very thankful for them. And in this time, I find myself wanting to reach out to check on them, especially this in need. Mental health is a concern I hope many of you take into consideration over the coming weeks. For some people, isolation car be a very scary or dangerous thing. Even a phone call or a FaceTime/Skype call could help curb whatever anxieties might be going on. This Haiku cane to me as I was considering a conversation I had with a friend about isolation and the impact it was having on some. I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to speak with several people that I otherwise wouldn’t have, and it was really wonderful. If there is someone on your mind, reach out and FaceTime them! Love them. Let’s make sure no one feels alone! #haiku #haikustairs #haikupoetry #haikusofinstagram #haikuaday #haikupoem #haïku #haikuoftheday #haikus #haikuofinstagram #haikujam #haikulover #64millionartists #craigrandallwriting #writeyoursoulonfire #poetry #poetrycommunity #poetrylovers #aspiringwriter #poetryholics #poetryisnotdead #poetryporn #poetryislife #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #anxietyproblems #anxietysupport #anxietyrecovery #poetryofig #poetrycorner
