I made some protective face masks using household items, following the instructions by the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital in collaboration with others.
The longest time taken was finding items around the house and then ensuring they were cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaner.
The first one, shown here, was the slowest to complete but I was faster at making subsequent ones.
I’ve stashed the ones I made in a new IKEA kitchen baggie to keep them clean.
Best I can do under the circumstances.
Give it a go. It lightened my mood by making these.
Meantime, I’m in self-isolation.
