This week’s challenge from @amylordartist is to share a story of a gift. Here is 3 year old Amy very impressed with her orange on Christmas morning (desk, what desk?!) .
Share your #StoryOfAGift – one that you’ve given, one that you’ve received, one that you are yet to give…? Tag @amylordartist and use #StoryOfAGift #TheStoryOfYouAndMe to share

Posted @withrepost • @amylordartist This is me, aged 3, being delighted by an orange on Christmas morning. I’m seemingly more impressed by the orange than the desk…caught up in the magic that was coming downstairs and finding out if Santa had been.
Judging by my dad’s croaky voice I think this may have been one of those 5 or 6am Christmas Day starts, of which there were many.
I also realise how clever it was of my parents to put such random stuff like Brazil nuts and walnuts (fully shelled) and oranges in with the presents, this was evidence we hung on to that Santa was real!
Why am I posting this? BECAUSE this week, I’m delighted to be setting the @64millionartists creative challenge. Visit their profile to find out how to join in.
It’s essentially about telling the story of a memorable gift you’ve given or received and I’m posting this 80’s Camcorder video as my own entry to the challenge…
