Day 31 - Celebrate. Tonight I'm toasting our completed creative January with a glass of shiraz. I've loved every day and sharing the journey with you all. 7am won't be the same in February but I hope we can keep in touch through other 64million challenges. X #Day31 of #thejanuarychallenge #celebrate thanks @64millionartists it’s been a blast #cheers #64millionartists #naughtymonsters #me #640artists #TheJanuaryChallenge Day 31-celebrate. I have had so much fun doing this and have connected with some lovely people-thank you for all the encouragement, humour and creativity. It was definitely a challenge some days! I'm proud of some of my work and pleasantly surprised at my well I did others. I found out my 'areas for improvement'! I quite liked the challenge and I'm thinking of doing the February Craft Challenge which I did last year. Finally, I'll celebrate by giving you a link to my Facebook page - there is also a website. Anyone who wants to write a guest post for my website is welcome to. You can post stuff to the Facebook page too. There are lots of ideas: Loved the January Challenge - reading the challenges every morning, doing them, sharing some of them and getting likes, seeing loads and loads of fab posts by other people. The whole thing has been life enhancing! Cheers! See you next year and/or on the weekly challenges! 64 Million artists# #TheJanuaryChallenge Day 31 w When I celebrate I eat gooey stuff that's no good for me. At the start I felt like Einsteins fish but now I feel empowered DAY 31. Celebrate. I am really happy that I have managed to do/post every day of this challenge. And I have really enjoyed doing so. Some days were harder than others, and some were more fun than others. But 31 days later, I am celebrating by making a scrapbook of my entries. Anne Akers and I are celebrating at the Lamb and Flag. She’s drinking coffee. I’m not Day 31 - celebrate! I wasn't sure I'd manage to do this challenge all the way through and somehow I have, even on days when I thought no I can't do this one. But I kept seeing everyone else's imaginative responses and positive comments and it spurred me on. I could spend 5 minutes or 5 hours on them if I wanted to. Thanks everyone. It has been a great sharing experience Still thinking about how to celebrate at the moment. @sjf40 @r_mjm #64MillionArtists #TheJanuaryChallenge Day#31 Celebrate! On driving Twitter I saw it was a challenge of a @64M_Artists persona to celebrate his Birthday...so Why Not..? Happy Birthday to all Aquarians like myself..! If you've heard of Sarnia/Point Edward, you've probably heard of chemical valley. Now before you buy into the media hype and write my community off as a filthy toxic wasteland, filled with mutant cancer beings, living in everyone else's garbage...check out this image! ❄ I took this photo at Canatara beach...in one of my favourite parks in the city (Don't believe me? Take a look through my IG...it's filled with photos of Canatara!!!) The park - as well as being home to this much sought after, highly rated, summer oasis for swimming and water sports - also contains beautiful green space with open fields and wooded areas. And it's not the only natural wonderland in this city! It may not be found in any travel destination listings...but take it from this local...Sarnia/Point Edward is well worth a visit! #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists #betterlatethannever #noplacelikehome #nofilterneeded #frozenbeach #itsbriskbaby #naturecalmsme #endthestigma Day 31: Celebrate I'm celebrating a few things: 1. Longer days / more daylight. 2. Getting my teeth into a studio project (casting excess fruit plastic packaging - pictured). 3. Being invited to work on a local festival again based on studio work. 4. Being proactive about realising a major project in memory of my friend who took his life in October. 5. Being invited to collaborate on a rubbish project with another artist. 6. Setting up 2 blogs for ongoing projects/collaborations. 7. Rehabbing my knee and hip and getting back to sub30 5k and sub60 10k runs. 8. Losing half of my Christmas lbs. I started January with a year of application rejections behind me, no major projects to work on and feeling like my studio work kept falling short, not managing more than 3k running plus a stone gain of Christmas indulgence. So January's been a bit of a hard slog but worth the effort I'm celebrating with Lidl's gin Day 31 celebrate What can I say it’s been as brilliant this January as it was in 2017 when 64ma was new to me. I’ve been away for a few days so it’s been tricky keeping up as I’ve been on a whistle stop tour with my hubby and our enthusiastic nephew as our guide. Tonight we’ll celebrate with chippy tea. But I’ll do a little flamenco as well. I was honoured to be asked to join in a few nights ago - my technique leaves a lot to be desired but it was fabulous! Day 31 celebrate!!! Some like wine I like chocolate. Congratulations everyone So we celebrated the final day by visiting a Neolithic dragon (rock formation) then having a spot of lunch and a drawing session. Last day of #TheJanuaryChallenge Let's celebrate! What a month! Incredible way to create, think and share. Huge Hi5 @64millionartists Lets all carry on creatively kicking butt! #64millionartists Hand-standing in celebration! I've learned that if at 1st you don't suceed you can always try again. Mostly I learned to prioritise and push myself. Hoping to keep up being more creative everyday, or at least everyday I have time x Last day of #TheJanuaryChallenge Let's celebrate! What a month! We’re in Drink, Shop, Do (King’s Cross) celebrating - pop in and say hi Day 31: celebrating completing the challenge. It's been a hectic and there’s no sign of a let up, so I’m celebrating by putting my feet up. And colouring them with Deep Art Effects. Goodbye #thejanuarychallenge and #64millionartists - it was a good distraction for the darkest month of the year. These were my favourite 4 challenges. Cheers! We’re in Drink, Shop, Do (King’s Cross) celebrating - pop in and say hi Super proud of our friends @64M_Artists for helping to unlock everyone's #EverydayCreativity throughout January with #TheJanuaryChallenge - we've had a great time participating! January 31st: Celebrate! Do whatever you do to celebrate the end of the January challenge. Food and drink are always how I celebrate. Today I'll be celebrating with a glass of Pineau, and some rather good peanuts which I recommmend. I have completed every single challenge, which I wasn't expecting. Most of them I actually only spent about 5 or 10 minutes doing though sometimes much longer thinking about them I found the written challenges the easiest and the musical ones the most difficult but all of them were achievable, which I was really thrilled about as for most of the month I have not been at home and had just paper and a few coloured crayons to work with. I have been amazed at some of the beautiful creative things people have shown on this site but really glad not to have felt intimidated ever. Thank you! #64MillionArtists #TheJanuaryChallenge Grand Celebration Medal. 64MA. JC January 31st: Celebrate! Do whatever you do to celebrate the end of the January challenge. Congratulations to all of us for taking part in such a fun and amazing challenge, reawakening creativity and making us smile! I have created us all a certificate, and treated myself to tulips and wine! #Challengeday31 #64millionartists #TheJanuaryChallenge I can't believe It's the end of the January Challenge! I've had such a great time! I've made a little collage here of some of my favourites! Can't wait till next year! I'm going to attempt the 28 drawings later, the 64 million artists weekly challenges, and I may even try and submit a piece of work to an upcoming exhibition! This challenge was exactly what I needed! I'm really going to miss my 7am email. It actually made me want to get out of bed in the morning! Day 31. Celebrate. Well, I'm celebrating by signing up to the 64 Million artists weekly challenge... I've really love this, thankyou so much for making January a bit brighter! I would like to say a big thank you to the organisers who once again have done a mavellous job. And also thank you to all the 64 MA who have joined in and like me probably tried stuff outside their comfort zone. It's been great to catch up with friends from last year and to make so many more this. Hope to keep in touch with many of you through either The February Secret Friends Network or through Do, Think, Share! So my Celebration. Not exciting but here goes. 7. pictures. 1. A trip with hubby to Derby. 2. A coffee (not in this mug though) ! 3. Wool purchased for new knitting project! 4. Afternoon spent editing photographs from yesterday. 5.. Put a picture in local Derbyshire competition. Not doing bad. A year ago I wouldn't have even considered taking a picture never mind sending one in! 6. Cooking dinner for our lovely daughter tonight. ( Well putting stuff in the oven anyway)! So looking forward to seeing her. 7. The last picture is to say thank you to everyone out there and have a good 2018! Paper party for the final day of #TheJanuaryChallenge Thanks @64M_Artists and everyone who’s joined in for giving me the confidence to live creatively everyday! Creative people tend to get a bit stressed and that is me today so I went out and took some photos and this is one of them. It is the end of these challenges but I have new challenges to come this year. It's my birthday tomorrow and so I begin a new year, another year older and perhaps wiser. I shall celebrate when today is over and I'll probably need a drink by then! I'll celebrate again tomorrow just to be sure. :) All of the info about the next steps for the January Challenge are coming by email tomorrow but for now - if you're interested in signing up for the weekly challenges here's the link! Please note - because we're trying to get smarter about data protection you must still sign up for the weekly challenges even if you got them last year... After a lazy weekend and bout of sickness...I was finally able to get out for a walk! This worked out perfectly because the return of cold, snowy weather meant that someone might be tickled to find one of the scarves I made and was happy to give away. ❄ (The tag reads, "If you need - please take - stay warm".)❤ #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists #gifted #betterlatethannever #handmade #armknitscarf #itsbriskbaby #thejanuarychallenge - this is my coat of arms for the challenge I set yesterday. I asked my son what would be on our coat of arms and he said "Lego". I wanted it to have an animal as well, so I've added a three-legged cat - rampant (which is a bit harsh, because Tigger would almost certainly fall over if he tried to stand up on his one remaining back leg). The motto is "subridere", which is smile in Latin. I'm a great believer in the power of smiles! #smile #keepsmiling #subridere #thepowerofsmile #threeleggedcat @64M_Artists #TheJanuaryChallenge Day31 Celebrate Thank you for the challenges gonna miss them Day 31 of 31: @64M_Artists Today's challenge is to celebrate - congratulations! Do whatever you love to do when you celebrate to mark the end of the challenge. Anything goes - as long as it inspires their creativity (& is simple, fun and free)! Maybe it's Time To Change, to try something new? #TheJanuaryChallenge #64millionartists #MentalHealth #TimeToChange Day 31: celebrate A very special Harry Potter fan turns 10 this week and I have just finished this to help her celebrate. All ready for me to frame tomorrow. #64millionartists A photograph of the artist behind all the pieces that have created and shared on 64 Million artist. My aim is to promote myself better get art commissions, actual be paid rather than have to do jobs that hate but pay hoping someone out there can help achieve my dream of becoming a known artist rather than invisable. Have had years of trauma through cancer three times, loss of elder sister through brain tumor, ill health of hubby, job threat - loss, death of mum, broken left foot two small toes and big toe, removal of 18 inches of bowel and post traumatic stress syndrome because of all of the above. Want to move on with living as a artist making art that I love in any form at all just want and need that one person out there to believe in my talent and take that chance so that can get my art that is currently sitting in my house out into galleries be brought or sold rather than gathering dust under the bed in the cupboards or just as a performance piece. Give this Coventry kid a well earned and deserved break no time wasters please only real and genuine offers where I do not have to pay you exhortant amounts of cash to place my art in your gallery, on your wall or in your environment. Thank you for a opportunity would welcome this with open arms, Day 29 of 31: @64M_Artists task to redo your favourite challenge. ⏪⏪Rewind to Day 6 challenge: Soundtrack for the day.
