The Weekly Challenge

Weekly Challenge, 30th April – Autobiographical Alphabet

This year we are crowdsourcing our challenges from around the country. Each challenge is set by a different organisation or initiative, which means we’ve seen everything from mysterious mask-making to powerful poetry to daring drawings. So… what’s next? Well firstly we’ll be featuring a challenge set by an individual. Georgina Scott. Georgina was a dedicated January Challenger and hasn’t missed a Weekly Challenge yet. So, here’s one she’s set for you to do this week…

Create an ‘Autobiographical Alphabet’. This could be an A-Z of things, people, events or moments from throughout your life, from the last year, or even things you encounter throughout the week. Start with A and see how far you get. Don’t worry if you can’t make it all the way to Z but give it a try! You could document in photos, collage, words or any other way you’d like.

If you have more time …
Try do the challenge again but quicker. How fast can you make it from A to Z? You could try complete the challenge in one room or whilst on the go.

Think
Which angle did you take? Did you feature your life or just your week? How autobiographical did you make it? How did it feel to share this?

Share
Share your Autobiographical Alphabets! This could be a collage, a list or a story. Don’t forget to tag #64MillionArtists and share your challenge on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
