Cardboard Citizens, the UK’s only homeless people’s professional theatre company, recently launched their new #CitizensDo campaign. Since March they’ve been collecting hundreds of audience ideas – ranging from addressing issues around stigma to offering spare rooms to homeless people – and have been sending people actions inspired by their ideas to take on each week. Illustrate and share the recipe for your favourite budget meal. You could draw a recipe card, take pictures of the real thing or even create a simple how-to video. Then, if you can, donate one of the ingredients to your local food bank. Find ways to donate food here. Let’s see what we can do when we get creative and join together to make a difference.
