The Weekly Challenge, 18th March 2019 – Living On Purpose18th March 2019
What are the issues in life and the world around you that get you thinking, acting and doing? This week’s challenge is set by a company called On Purpose – a community that puts purpose before profit within organisations; contributing to an economy that works for all. They offer programmes for leaders that want to create positive social and environmental change – and they are challenging you to think about “What is your purpose?” Write it down, show the world and celebrate the things that matter.
Write your purpose! Take a sheet of paper and write down the things that you do On Purpose. It could be anything from thinking about what causes, campaigns or movements you feel passionately about, to celebrating your skills, values and things that bring you joy. You could get someone to take a photo of you holding your poster – or find a background for your poster that suits. Be as creative as you want…it’s over to you! Share your purpose loudly and proudly.
If you have more time …
Find out more about the values of the people around you. Have a conversation with family members, friends (online or in person), colleagues or neighbours and find out that bit more about each other. How could you celebrate these values this week?
What did this challenge make you think about, or reflect on? Do you make time for the things that matter to you? How did you approach the task, and did anything surprise you?
Share your purpose! Share your work with On Purpose, the 64 Million Artists team and thousands of other Challengers across the country using #64MillionArtists and #LiveOnPurpose
