Here I’ll show you how to create some simple doodle patterns to finish the watercolour circles I painted yesterday.

This is a very mindful exercise which will help you to relax, feel calm and unwind.

Before you begin, bring your awareness to your breath, taking 3 long, deep, slow breaths.

As you begin, look careful at the circles, noticing the patterns, colours and shapes.

Watch your pen as it moves across the page and be aware of the movement of your hands.

Listen to the sound of the pen as it moves on the paper.

Be aware of how the muscles in your fingers, hands, arms and body feel as you draw.

Pause and take time to look and consider where and how you will make your next mark.
