I've been waiting all day. 'enough blue to make a sailor a pair of trousers.' This is a quote from the teacher on a course I’m taking right now, set on a picture of my youngest son on “our” beach (we are so lucky to live a stone’s throw from this beach, and don’t get down here often enough!) ❤️ Day 24: Creative Words The Quote is from Carrie Fisher. Each word I randomly selected alphabetically from the Font Collection on Word and then used a B'day cards as a back drop #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists #carriefisher Day 24. CREATIVE words. I struggled with this one, as I'd decided to use the quote on my Facebook profile, and drawing is not my strong point. "Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you'd have preferred to talk". Doug Larson. Thanks to Wordart clips for the help! #64MillionArtists #TheJanuaryChallenge #day24 Day 23: Creative Words This is a quote from Carrie Fisher. Each word I randomly selected alphabetically from the Font Collection on Word and used one of my daughters B'day cards for a suitable back drop. Favourite quote... and this, my friends, is why I get everything finished at the very last minute! Day 24 - Creative words. I originally planned to do this by cutting letters & words out of newspapers but I'm not very well today so found a way to do this challenge on my phone instead. My chosen quote is, "Life isn't measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away". For health reasons I'm unlikely to live to old age but I try to make the most of the time I do have :) Colours and feelings of a rainbow Day 24. Wise words! Day 24 Creative Words: Recycle Recycled (found) images for recycling objects, materials, images and ideas. The hardest part was choosing a favourite quote: decided on this verse from John 10 because it's the one I base my whole life upon. Poem by William Morris but the title in itself is a favourite quote of mine. I like including it in best wishes on a wedding card. I don’t often say it out loud but I often think it and find it reassuring Cheating for today, this is one of my linocut cards x Catch up for day 23 - blackout poetry (did actually do it yesterday, but phone conked out before I could post.) This is my favourite quote. I find it really inspiring... and from a man who knew about achieving incredible things. #TheJanuaryChallenge #quote There are many quotes that I find inspiring, but this quote by Maya Angelou stood out in my mind.
