My magic potion recipe looks suspiciously like that for a gin and tonic. It’ll make you laugh! Cry! Dance! Feel a bit queasy! …just add snails and a glitter filter for that extra witchy touch… Sign up here: www.dothinkshare.com/sign-up/

It’s hard to know what I could put in my potion that would result in me having the energy to prance about like this. Delicious fruits and a dash of alcohol and something very healthy and organic that would melt away unwanted pounds within days.

I have a challenge for you all if you are willing to accept it ?! … Earlier this week I posted my first attempt at blackout poetry with text for #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists but I have done quite a lot of blackout poetry with images in the past. Why don’t you give it a try? I’d love to see it so make sure you post it and tag me As with blackout using text, I think there is is so much potential in blackout of images. It’s good for you and society to respond in creative ways rather than just consume all that is being throw at us. This pic is of one that I did in 2016 during my first 365 days of daily making (many of the posts are still up @365stickynotes which I used before consolidating my accounts) and I have slowly been letting go of them by leaving them in library books when I take them back. #blackoutpoetry #newspaperblackout #tbt
The Potion …..gather all of my favourite flowers have the petals preserved …then add them to a blue glass jar,…add 6 teaspoons of seawater from each of my favourite Beaches in Cornwall…… stir gently ……capture the sound Of all the little birds in the hedgerows singing their heads off as dawn breaks ……Add to the blue jar………record my favourite pieces of music stir gently into the blue jar ….take some of my favourite photographs of places I have visited ..not forgetting The Lovely Lakes ,and attach them around the blue jar , add the lid (made from a beautiful blue shell from New Zealand .) ….make sure it is firmly attached so the contents don’t spill out ….When I need to be reminded of all of these things ….gently remove the lid from THE BLUE GLASS JAR ..and peek inside , take a deep breath…..enjoy the scents …..and dream …….
Day 25. I don’t expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses.

So mine is a potion poem
To be where you are
I have a notion
To make a potion
That takes me
Instantly over the ocean
To be with my dad
Far over the sea
Things i will need
Will be many indeed
Shiny silver wing
And wishes that sing
Rainbows and smiles
speed over the miles
Eyes closed tight
A star so bright
A sprinkle of this
A pinch of that
A drop of magic
Grab my hat
and be home by three
Me and my Dad having tea
Day 25 – Potion
I’ve handed this challenge to my daughter (well to be fair she took it and ran away with it!)
Here is her picture of the dream witch’s laboratory. The witch and her daughter make potions that are dreams to put in people’s heads. The daughter isn’t very good at potions and sometimes gets it wrong, which is apparently why my son had a bad dream last night. (She got the salt and the sugar mixed up.)
There were many more details that I didn’t write down. She has an imagination, that girl!
Then I had to administer my own potion to her, as she had a sore throat at bedtime – warm honey and orange, plus a shot of calpol. Fingers crossed that helps her sleeps it off!
This potion is not for the faint-hearted or indeed the weak-livered.
My Dancing potion is made by mixing a quarter btl vodka, 2 litres of cider & 4 cans of red bull with the magic ingredient…Buckfast! Drink with friends before heading to a club where you’ll throw some serious shapes until the wee small hours
Day 25 Abracadabra My potions must be combined, and once drunk/eaten/smelt/sprinkled, my day is enhanced. I can greet the world with positivity and glamour #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists #potions @64M_Artists
Day 25 Art task: Make a potion…Step 1/ Bottle the energy you had when you were 10 years younger…Step 2/ Add the sun rays that fall on the underside of a leaf…Step 3/ Mix with an indoor jungle…Step 4/ Add a sunny disposition and seal with a commitment to live adventurously…Reach for this potion whenever you need an emotional lift. Clue: You find it inside you, especially when you are with people you really love!
