Day 30 #TheJanuaryChallenge @64M_Artists . The task was to set somebody else a challenge. I asked Liz to make something from 1 piece of paper. Day 30: set someone else a challenge. I misunderstood this and set myself a challenge, to photograph the golden eye ducks at my favourite nature reserve. I got a lot of photos like the first one (they dive. Frequently. )before I succeeded. So I suppose my challenge to others is to photograph something which doesn’t want to cooperate. (No paparazzi photos, please!) @64M_Artists Challenged the grandkids to make their own emojis #64MillionArtists #TheJanuaryChallenge #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists Day 24 - Creative Words #flipbookanimation #quotes https://youtu.be/HxjGZcBxcDs I challenged myself to do some blogging again because it's something I've wanted to do more of. So here's a piece I wrote today about talking about mental health. I hope you like it. Day 24 The January Challenge - Creative Words One of my favourite quotes...... #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists #shell Challenge to photograph a shell or shells on the beach. Day 30 your turn. Take a photo that looks like an abstract painting and give it a suitable arty title. Mine's called 'momentum' It’s #Day30 of #thejanuarychallenge #YourTurn. So I have been challenged by @mister_spoon to draw a #monsterfamilyspoon so here they are #naughtymonsters #64millionartists Day 30 #thejanuarychallenge Your turn A drawning technique I learned from university. Grab some paper, something to draw with and something that plays music. This could a radio or your phone and favourite song. Before playing/listening to the music, sit down somewhere with your pencil/pen etc. in your hand and rest it on the paper. For the next few seconds, try and clear your mind and relax your drawing hand. With your other hand (or someone's help) play the music and let your hand move across the paper to the music - try not to think about what you draw. You may like to play part or all or the music and try small or larger pieces of paper. Since tomorrow is the last day of #thejanuarychallenge , I wanted to get to know you guys better - Ayesha Day 30. Your turn. This was very apt. I’d only just been discussing with a friend how we’ve let our ‘real’ cameras gather dust in favour of our mobiles, and so we have challenged each other to a photo a day in February. #TheJanuaryChallenge #64MillionArtists #Day30 Challenge someone else So this is a photo I took on my way to work this morning. How many cranes can you get in one shot of the Coventry sky line (or your home town)???? #64millionartist #January challenge day 30 my challenge is for the next 30 days write a poem a day..look around you it can be as simple as 4 lines try to rhyme or be lyrical....I feel blessed to express myself in rhymes... Day 30 Your Turn Map the Journey #TheJanuaryChallenge #64MillionArtists #mindmaps #artandlanguage Challenge: Hidden Treasures Describe the hidden treasures in your home town in words and images (at least five, but no more than ten). These are the secret corners that you love to visit - quirky, arty, that little bit weird... Added incentive: If you send your Hidden Treasures to helen@hometruth.org.uk, I'll publish it on my blog Pretty Vintage Life! Day 30 your turn Learn something new! That’s castanets for me - inspired by trip to Malaga. Jo Hunter challenged me to "draw a skyline, wherever in the world or a made up place. Then include at least 3 people (visible or behind closed doors) that live there, think about their stories..." I've got 3 people in mind. A nomad in the mountains, a high flying entrepreneur in the tallest building and a wandering tourist. So fun to think about those people. Taking part in this year's @64millionartists January Challenge. Day 30: Your turn My mum and I are both doing this challenge so we've issued each other with today's. She says: "Do you have a favourite texture? Is there one you cannot bear? Drawing, photos, words - choose your own media and take it away." I LOVE the silky-furred feeling of the nap of velvet. I LOATHE a certain sort of wobbliness epitomised by jellyfish. Take one of each, play with blending in @photoshop Mix, and you have a whole new texture that half makes me want to gag and half makes me want to wear it. A woman is desperate to track down the kind stranger who left £100 on her lap while she slept on a train. Ella Johannessen said the gesture left her in tears, particularly after a tough 18 months in which her father and both grandparents passed away. The 23-year-old graduate was on the 14:52 train from Peterborough to Leeds on 27 Jan when she phoned her mum and began discussing how little money she had and that it was worrying her. During the conversation, she became increasingly upset - and somebody clearly overheard her plight. After speaking to her mum, Ella drifted off to sleep. When she woke up again, she was shocked to find someone had left £100 in cash under a napkin on her lap. Ella said the gesture left her in tears once more. She has since shared her story in the hope she can track down the stranger who gave her the money so she can thank them properly. A Facebook post by Ella has been shared more than 6,500 times. The recent graduate wrote: “After a terrible 18 months where I lost my father and both of his parents it showed me that there is kindness and good people in the world.” Addressing the person who had gifted her the money, she added: “I will pass your kindness on. “I want to say thank you to the person who gave me this gift, I hope you will eventually see this.” Day 30- challenge imagine what this lady is thinking or going to write about next. Re-visit an earlier challenge. I'm combining two, drawing five faces and doing it with my non-dominant hand. Fry's Five Boys chocolate was on sale from 1902 until the early 70s. I remember seeing the old tin advertising sheets, they were things of beauty, unlike the boys who always had that air of naughtiness. Day 29 #64millionartists #thejanuarychallenge.
