Late to the party but decided to join #thejanuarychallenge by #64millionartists – day 5 ‘100 years later’. For my time capsule I shot a photo album of pictures of my mum taken with a variety of 35mm film cameras across 5 decades on my new #instaxmini90 and then shot the result on my phone. The memories of my mum, the changing fashions and technologies with the passing of time and the blending of old techniques with the new. @64millionartists #instantphotography #analoguephotography #digitalphotography

. . .
An image I’d put into a time capsule to show people in the future what (my) life is like today. My favourite view. I wonder what it will look like in 100 years.

Day 5 of #TheJanuaryChallenge – in 100 years time…a series of images to go into a time capsule to show what life is like now.
As a Forest School leader I am often in woodlands with people, usually children, having fun making dens, climbing trees, using hand tools, discovering nature, making natural art and enjoying the benefits of what being outdoors in all weathers in the company of trees gives us
In 100 years time will our native woodlands have survived? Will children (people) still play outdoors? Will there still be hand tools? Will some of out native plant, animal, insect species be extinct due to insecticides & the loss of natural habitats through over development?
I wanted to use something that represented the library and my inspiration came from a pack of cards so the nearest thing we had to these are our Library membership cards, I even managed a drawbridge out of cable ties.
Day 5 – #TheJanuaryChallenge I am going to join @RossBolWill and put my cape into your time capsule too. In 100 years time I hope people look back and realise there is “NOTHING boring about being a superhero!” @64M_Artists #64millionartists

Day 5 of #thejanuarychallenge capture a series of images to go into a time capsule to show people in 100 years what life was like in 2017/18
Images taken during an early afternoon run at my childhood home, in the 18 years since I moved from the country to the city these open green spaces are getting smaller at a scary rate, who knows what will be left in 100 years….I didn’t intend a gloomy post
Taking part in this year’s @64millionartists January Challenge. Day 5: 100 Years Later
A two-birds, one-stone situation today – mocking up a sample for a workshop I am running for the @museumoflondon in a couple of weeks and seems appropriate image to leave in a time capsule for the January Challenge prompt of the day!
Layered up work starring ever patient studio-mate @bethan_kay_

I’m taking part in #thejanuarychallenge with #64millionartists and today’s challenge is entitled ‘100 years’
Though I’d share my submission
The Futurist in Scarborough. The lower picture is how it looks currently, with its brutalist 60s facade addition, although demolition began just before Christmas to make way (possibly) for a new indoor theme park with a roller coaster. The charm of the old spa town is fading noticeably even during the 2 years I’ve lived here. Not sure what will be here in 100 years
Day 5 : 100 Years Later -will haptic materials be rendered as archeology as now or still be in use by artists found materials ochre from cliffs quill and shells from beachcombing -no plastic #thejanuarychallenge#64millionartists
Our friends @64M_Artists have asked us to ‘Capture or find an image we’d like to be discovered 100 years from now’ as part of #TheJanuaryChallenge – in 100 years from now, we’d love for the Citizen to be the dominant individual in society. We call this the #CitizenShift
